Cervelo 2019 | Product Launch & First Look

A visit to the Cervelo HQ saw the release of the refreshed specifications and colours of the R, C and P series alongside some further exciting announcements yet to be made in the coming weeks. As with every Cervelo launch the super bike category was on show with their flagship P5X and the top selling R5 Disc refreshed for 2019. Yet the more affordable modes demonstrated increased specifications and back to classic Cervelo colours.

Cervelo R Series | 2019

Cervelo continue with the updated geometry from 2018 with an all round sportive geometry for the R3/R3 Disc and a racier geometry for the R5/R5 Disc; remember though a bike fit can alter the setup on each to be suitable for you. Specifications are updated with a variety of DT Swiss wheelsets alongside Novatec carbon wheelsets; meaning you don't need to upgrade wheels after purchase, especially if you are moving to disc for the first time (don't like the specified wheels? we will swap these out for your preferred option, just ask!).

The colours are the major improvement for us in 2019, an animated and lively orange on the R3 or the classic black/white combination which we think will be the real mover. In the R5 the black on black continues for 2019 after extreme demand led to an early sell out in 2018 and there is also the introduction of a blue/orange combination on the R5 Disc eTap.

Cervelo C Series | 2019
The compliant all day bike that maintains race heritage and stiffness from Cervelo. This bike is often the choice of sportive riders looking for a more endurance geometry with a ride that still offers that racier acceleration. In 2019 there is a new C2 offering an affordable entry to this revered brand priced at £2399 with the new Shimano 105 and fitted with 28mm tyres as standard.

C series is updated again with the C3 in new colour ways and interesting specifications. Click to see C Series details.

Cervelo P Series | 2019
Framesets will be ever popular again in the P series and the entry level models have upgraded specifications and some new exciting colour ways. The budget breaking P5X however is the real head turner for any dedicated triathlete:
